TL;DR

An All-on-6 full arch of fixed teeth costs about ₹4–8 lakh per arch in India (roughly CAD $6,500–$12,900), versus CAD $26,000–$47,000 per arch in Canada. Even after flights and a hotel, most patients still save 60–75%.

What All-on-6 costs by country

Prices below are per arch. A full mouth (both arches) roughly doubles the figure — the fixture count, not the country, drives that jump. What changes country to country is the surgeon’s fee and lab costs, not the implant brand or the crown material if you ask for the same one.

Ask for the brand on paper

A written quote should name the exact implant system (Straumann, Nobel Biocare or equivalent) and the crown material — not just a total number. That is the only way to compare an India quote to a Canadian one fairly.

Why India is cheaper — and where it isn’t

India is not cheaper because the materials are inferior — most clinics doing this work, including Tooth Simplified, use the same Straumann or Nobel Biocare implant systems used in Canadian and Australian clinics. The saving comes from lower clinical staffing, lab and real estate costs, not from cutting corners on the implant itself. The gap narrows only if you compare a premium India clinic to a budget one back home — always match brand to brand.

Plan for the healing gap

All-on-6 usually needs 3–6 months between placing the implants and fitting the final fixed bridge. Most patients get a fixed temporary bridge on day one, then return (or the clinic ships the final bridge) once the implants have integrated. Build this into your travel plan, not just the treatment cost.

A real all-in trip cost

All-on-6, one arch — all-in (Canada patient)
All-on-6 fixed bridge (zirconia, premium brand)₹7,50,000
CBCT scan, extractions & temporary bridgeIncluded
Return flights (Toronto ⇄ Delhi)₹70,000
Hotel, 6 nights near the clinic₹30,000
Local transfers & meals₹15,000
All-in India total≈ ₹8,65,000 (~CAD $14,000)
You still save roughly CAD $12,000–$33,000+ compared to the same arch treated in Canada — even after flights and hotel.

All-on-4 vs All-on-6 — which you need

All-on-4

  • Four implants support the full arch
  • Lower bone-graft need in most cases
  • Slightly faster, lower-cost protocol
  • Well-proven, widely used worldwide
More support

All-on-6

  • Six implants per arch, better load spread
  • Preferred where bone density allows it
  • More support for a heavier bite / bruxism
  • Marginally higher cost for the extra fixtures

How to keep it safe

The price gap between India and Canada or Australia is real, but it only stays safe if the clinic is transparent before you fly. Ask for a written, itemised quote from your CBCT scan (not a photo), confirm the exact implant brand and get the warranty in writing. A same-day “quote” without a scan is a guess, not a treatment plan.

Frequently asked questions

Is an All-on-6 done in one trip?

Usually two. You get the implants and a fixed temporary bridge placed in the first visit (7–10 days), then return 3–6 months later once the implants have integrated for the final zirconia bridge. Some clinics can extend the first trip if your schedule allows.

Is dental treatment in India safe for a Canadian patient?

At an accredited clinic, yes. Check the dentist’s registration (Dr. Bandhavi is registered A-15692 with the Delhi Dental Council), ask which implant brand is used, and confirm sterilisation protocol before you book. Treat it the same way you’d vet any new clinic at home.

Why is Canada so much more expensive for the same implants?

Clinical staffing, lab fees and real estate cost more in Canada, and that gets built into the per-implant fee. The implant hardware itself (Straumann, Nobel Biocare) is priced globally and is not the reason for the gap.

How long does an All-on-6 bridge last?

With good home care and regular check-ups, a well-placed All-on-6 bridge commonly lasts 15–20 years or longer; the implants themselves, if properly integrated, can last a lifetime.

All-on-6 or dentures — which is better value?

Removable dentures cost less upfront but sit on the gum and can move; All-on-6 is fixed, feels closer to natural teeth and avoids the bone loss that comes with wearing dentures long-term. For most people who can afford it, All-on-6 works out better value over 10+ years.
